MET Institute of PGDM is organizing Artificial Intelligence Case Study Competition is a multi-faceted competition that is open to Undergraduate and Post Graduate students from any academic discipline, in any year of their academic career.
Date: Sat, October 28, 2023
Time : 9.30 AM — 5:00 PM IST
Mode of Event: Offline for Mumbai students/ Online for outside Mumbai Students
A National Level Case Study Competition: Stages and Timelines
Competition Timeline : Online registrations via Google form will be accepted until 5:00 pm on 25th, October 2023. Early registration is strongly encouraged.
Competition Eligibility:
To be eligible for this competition, students must be able to demonstrate that they are enrolled at the Undergraduate/ Post Graduate Programme of the College/ University in India.
It is anticipated that there will be three participants per team, however teams with a minimum of two members are invited to register as well.
Any teams initially registering fewer than three team members could potentially find that the competition organizers might add additional members to their team in order to top up the number closer to three members per team, depending upon the total number of registrants. This is also designed to foster cross-disciplinary teams.
Individual registrations are also welcome.
Diversity is encouraged. The commingling of students from different academic disciplines on each team is actively encouraged, but not a requirement.
Round 1: Online Quiz
A 20-minutes online quiz with 20 questions based on AI Theme.. This quiz will test your knowledge and awareness of the business world. This online quiz will be an elimination round and the best teams will move on to the next round.
Start Date: October 10, 04:00 PM IST
End Date October 10, 04:20 PM IST
Round 2: Abstract Submission
The shortlisted teams will be provided with a case study for which they will have to submit an abstract. The abstract of the case must include an outline of the case problem, the research method used, the subsequent insights and further discussion of the same.
Start Date : October 20th , 09:00 AM IST
End Date , October 20th , 09:00 PM IST
Round 3: Presentation Round
This will be the final round. Selected teams will have to give a detailed presentation on the provided case study. The case presentation will take place offline for Mumbai participants at MET Campus and online for outside Mumbai participants.

Registration Rules:
· Enroll in a team size of 3 members . (Individual registrations are also welcome.)
· Open for all Courses/ specializations
· Open to first-year and second-year Graduate and Post Graduate students
· A team member cannot register themselves in more than 1 team
· In case of discrepancies, the decision of the jury/ event organizers will be final
· Organizers reserve the right to change the timelines.

About HR Summit
In addition to the competition itself, there will be National HR Summit which includes 4 hours Panel Discussion on changing paradigm of professional landscape in the rise of Artificial Intelligence. Esteemed Panel members form organisations like Timespro, HCL Technologies, FIS, 3Iinfotech, Datamatics, Tata Motors finance, GRP Limited, Cradlewise and many more top corporates.
They will address specific Artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques and it’s impact workplace and job roles. Registered competitors will automatically have access to these workshops, but other students with an interest who choose not to compete can also have access to these panel discussions by registration.
The event is designed as a developmental opportunity for students. If selected to compete, they will gain additional hands-on exposure to big artificial intelligence and machine learning as well as an opportunity to practice their formal presentation skills in a safe, fun and collegial, yet competitive environment.
There are TWO STREAMS
1. Competitors
The competition will be geared toward graduate and Post graduate Competitors will need to sign the non-disclosure acknowledgement form.
2. Non-Competitors ( HR Summit only)
Registration for the HR Summit will be open to anyone that wants to attend and observe them from any year and Academic discipline.
